Change to publicity guidance for EU funded projects

As of 1st August 2019 there has been a change to the European Structural & Investment Funds Branding and Publicity Guidance. Some projects are now required to display the HM Government or other domestic logo alongside the ERDF / ESIF logo.

Which projects?
This applies to projects that have received ERDF funding with a Grant Funding Agreement drafted on or after 1 August 2019, including ERDF projects with an extension for 1 year or more only.

Which logo to use?

  • Projects located in areas where the Northern Powerhouse or Midlands Engine are operating are required to use the logo of those initiatives alongside the ERDF or ESIF logo.
  • Projects located in the Greater London Authority area are required to use the Greater London Authority logo alongside the ERDF or ESIF logo.
  • Projects located elsewhere in England are required to use the HM Government logo alongside the ERDF or ESIF logo.
