Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Technical Assistance – Intermediate Body

Cornwall Council has been appointed as Intermediate Body for the Growth Programme in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly which gives greater local control over delivery of the programme.  Some activities that would usually be carried out by the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government have been delegated to Cornwall Council, for example, activities linked to developing Calls and assessing the strategic fit of outline and full applications.

This project will put in place capacity and expertise to carry out this work and ensure that the delegated functions are performed in a  compliant and timely way.
