Business innovation support programme, Acceleration through Innovation (ATI), have opened the eighth Pop-up Innovation Centre. Opening in Saltash to provide local businesses with fully-funded innovation advice and work space, the new location is now based at Q-Store in Saltash.
The centre gives local small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) the opportunity to pre-book the Pop-up Innovation Centre to run small events, such as workshops for up to 10 employees or events which benefit the local business community. Frequenters of the space will also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, printing and all the working essentials.
Local businesses and partners in the town celebrated the launch at China Fleet Country Club. One of which was Deputy Mayor Councillor Pete Samuels, who welcomed the arrival of the Pop-up Innovation Centre saying:
“On behalf of Saltash Town Council, I’m really pleased to welcome Acceleration Through Innovation to the town. Being one of the nine Cornish towns with a fully funded Pop-up Innovation Centre is a real privilege and we hope businesses utilise the support available.”
Workspace bookings, meetings and events availability are run on a first come first served basis. To ensure availability it’s recommended that you email ATI’s Pop-up Innovation Centre Coordinator, on email@example.com or call 07525 770552 to discuss your individual business needs.
ATI is a University of Plymouth led project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and in Partnership with Cornwall Innovation. The £3 million project aims to support business innovation across Cornwall and Isles of Scilly by helping businesses who are looking to adopt new processes or create new products and services.
The new location is available until the end of September until it moves to Bude for October, November and December. Ongoing business innovation support will be available through ATI until March 2020.
