A start-up company from Falmouth University’s Launchpad programme has been named as one of the regional winners of Tech Nation’s annual Rising Stars competition, which recognises the most exciting early-stage tech companies from across the country.

Data Duopoly are one of just five winners in the south west region. They’ll now benefit

from significant profile raising on both a national and international level, as well as the opportunity to put their business in front of leading investors, influencers and corporates.

Founded by Tanuvi Ethunandan and Erin Morris on the Launchpad programme. Data Duopoly aims to revolutionise the visitor experience.

Tanuvi said: “We are thrilled to be recognised by the Tech Nation Rising Stars as a Regional winner! We love that we can use our technology to help venues open safely during these unprecedented times and give visitors the personalised digital experience they deserve.

“We are excited about our work helping students and staff return to campus safely with our new XplorCAMPUS product. It has been a crazy busy year for the whole team at Data Duopoly and we are looking forward to our new ventures in 2021.”

Launchpad is Falmouth University’s postgraduate incubation and acceleration programme. It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Research England and Cornwall Council.
