Redruth House comprises 14 brand new fully furnished offices

A brand-new business hub for Redruth immediately adjacent the A30 at Scorrier has officially opened, and is already successfully letting some of the units on completion of the development.

Redruth House and Redruth Enterprise Park has been established on a 3.0 acre site at the Cornwall Business Park West, Scorrier, Redruth. It offers a high-quality development of 14 serviced office units, ranging from 236 to 329 sqm, with shared meeting and reception facilities, and 14 office/industrial units undertaken by JAD Developments (Redruth) Ltd. The £7.46m project has been made possible thanks to a major private sector investment by JAD Developments (Redruth) Ltd and £3.47m of grant funding from the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (CIOS) Growth Programme.

Located off the A30 junction at Scorrier, this new sustainable development has been built to “BREEAM” environmental excellent standard, meaning it is low carbon, energy efficient and constructed to the highest standards.

Russell Dodge, Managing Director of Business Location Services Ltd, the project manager for the scheme, said: “We are delighted that this exceptionally high-quality workspace development has been completed and the positive impact it will have for the local economy”.

Redruth House and Redruth Enterprise Park is the third workspace development undertaken by JAD Development Ltd, which has been enabled through EU funding from the CIOS Growth Programme. The construction responds to the joined ambition of providing additional and high quality workspace to enhance business growth. The CIOS Growth Programme is the  regeneration programme for the region, funded by the European Structural and Investment Fund it supports the EU and local ambitions for smart, sustainable, inclusive growth.
