Projects
Digital Transformation is a project developed by The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) in conjunction with Software Cornwall. Starting in July 2020, the project will provide business support to SMEs in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (C&IoS), aiming to increase productivity and competitiveness.
The project has been designed to enhance C&IoS’ flourishing digital sector and support it to grow, impacting positively upon the economy of the region and supporting C&IoS Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) priorities. Digital has been identified by the LEP as underpinning the region’s essential creative sector and is vital for a number of other priority industries including marine technology, e-health, space and aerospace.
TCCG have worked closely with Software Cornwall, a collaborative network of technology businesses, in the development of this project to understand the support needs of the sector and ensure the project meets them.
Through the project, digital and non-digital businesses will be brought together via an interactive and collaborative marketplace enabling digital SMEs to scale and increase market reach and non-digital SMEs to implement digital solutions, raising their productivity and competitiveness.
