Projects
Want to develop your skills and experience, get involved in the growth and development of the Orchard and spend some time amongst nature?
Sustainable Lives offers the opportunity to learn simple self-sufficiency skills at our beautiful 7-acre urban green space, in Kreft, the community wood workshop and in our community growing area, An Lowarth.
It’s more important than ever for communities to embrace sustainable ways of living, be it in growing food locally, making do and mending using recycled materials, protecting our wildlife or preserving our own health and wellbeing. Sustainable Lives is about sharing this process and empowering people to find practical solutions and inspire each other.

The Sustainable Lives programme at Newquay Community Orchard offers people hands-on experience in:
It is a wonderful opportunity to be part of something big, but it’s also about making small, positive changes for ourselves, together.
